Thought of MY day

Margaret Millar said : “Most conversations are simply monologues delivered in the presence of a witness.

But who was Margaret Millar, you might ask yourself ? A marketer ? A young Digital Marketing Manager ? A social Media guru ? Well, no Margaret Millar is surely one of late twentieth-century crime fiction’s best writers… Her books are distinguished by sophistication of characterization. She was a  mystery and suspense writer..and she wrote: “Most conversations are simply monologues delivered in the presence of a witness.”

But get this… she wrote this before 1994 when she died at 79. So, no suspense or mystery, here. just a very today’s comment written way back before social media existed as a concept.
That made me ponder : Am I having a monologue conversation where you are just my witnesses ?! Or am I succeeding with having a conversation with you my wonderful readers !?

Till next week, for more suspense and social mystery have a great week-end !
