Expanding our Business Analytics Capabilities
Today’s announcement that IBM has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Netezza, a leading provider of high performance analytics in a data warehouse appliance, highlights our commitment to bring integrated systems solutions to the market.
Aimed at helping clients improve their own business outcomes with more accessible, relevant data, the acquisition of Netezza extends our strategy of delivering higher-value solutions that reach beyond IBM’s organizational boundaries.
We continue to evolve our capabilities for systems integration, bringing together and optimizing hardware and software, in response to increasing demand for technology that delivers true business value. Netezza is a perfect example of this approach.
