Evening 1: #IBM Business Partners reception party #iod2010, Roma May 18th

I just got back to my hotel room following the first evening party of #iod2010. Tonight was dedicated to our Business Partners and I must say that the event was fantastic. The venue was stunning with classical musician playing live. It was just amazing… Thank you #iod2010 event team ! Now, it’s getting late and I need to get some rest as tomorrow is going to be a fantastic and busy day. 9am is the General Opening session,  and while I can’t reveal anything about it on my blog … I can guarantee you that this is going to be exceptional !

And here is a little teaser to what tomorrow’s event might sound like… Rob Ashe, General Manager, Business Analytics, IBM

Social media are platforms for interaction and relationships, and have the potential and power to affect everyone in your business – sales, marketing and technical employees – as well as your customers, investors, analysts and the press. Meet some of the social media experts from IBM at IOD EMEA 2010 who can help you better understand social media, decide whether or not it’s appropriate to use in your business model, and if so, how to get started using key tools to grow your business.
